- I am a 5-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. I served aboard the USS Reuben James (you might know her from "Hunt for Red October"), with the Auxiliary Security Force at Naval Station Pearl Harbor, and at the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific. I have written a book about my time in the Navy called "Five Years in Hawaii."
