Got to think of a good title, but damned if I can think of one.

Don’t think of one, especially before writing the book. I let the story reveal it to me. Somewhere a character will say something or the atmosphere created will reveal it. I see titles as the last thing on the to do list when writing. Many book titles are changed with film adaptations. Agents and publishers have even been known to ask for a title change before publication.

Characters, who, what and where in the hell did you come from?

Who are these people we are writing about? Fred, Bill, Joe, what to call my hero? What does he look like? I suppose tall, dark and handsome. No, more the bad boy, no perhaps a romantic… STOP!!!! Jeepers, what a pain. My parents named me before they had any idea what I was going to look like. How many people say they hate their names or when told a name, you think it doesn’t suit them? What is all this talk about style of writing? Hey, it’s your baby, your creation. Are you an individual or a sheep disguised as a human? If we all had the same style of writing, everything classed as literature would be boring. I keep being told there is a formula for writing, a way of doing things, what is “so-called” expected. I don’t know the meaning of writer’s block and why, because I’m not writing for the world, but for me and my passion for storytelling.
