That's interesting. I wanted to be an artist for marvel when I was younger. I still draw portraits for people all the time. I still wouldn't mind writing for marvel or dc, just have to wait and see what happens!
My little mind growing up would flip through careers faster than I could turn the page of a book. I wanted to be a teacher(loved playing school), an artist(unfortunately coloring inside the lines really well is not an indictator of great talent), a lawyer(all that reading really enticed me!), an actress(Because I wanted to be so many things, BUT, I have a real woman's figure and never had any desire to be bulemic), a model(see why I didn't become an actress), a mom(but only if I were saner than my own), a librarian(But I am too loud) and a bookstore owner(No love for the bottom line, but still trying to find a career among books). The only thing I didn't want to be was a writer and now that is what I consider myself. Now I write about all those careers in a fictional setting. The best of all worlds.
I wanted to be a paleantologist (I can't be bothered to check if I spelled that right, lol.) I literally knew EVERYTHING about tons of dinosaurs when I was six/seven/eight. Then the writing thing came on and I got stuck with that, lol.
I wanted to be Batman.
Instead, i chose to sit, eat chips, drink soda and read about Batman instead.
I have to settle for walking down the street and humming the Batman theme, until someone walks by, at which time I pretend like I'm coughing.
